Eyüpsultan Culture and Art Center
 

     Eyüpsultan Culture and Center is located along the historic city center currently as Sultan Center. Two new streets has been planned for this project to create a green area and open up the site to its streets by creating a square that serves recreation area, like playgrounds, green and sport areas.

 

Regarding the volume of the design, the inappropriate scale of the building with its surrounding structures has been decreased through dividing the facade into three parts.

Besides, the project area has been divided into various axis like, streets, green, sport, trade and more.  According to those axis the building has been located. In this way, a harmony with surrounded functions has been established. The design contains also several functions in itself, like sport center, library, workshop areas, offices, market and multi-functional rooms.
